The exciting story – here, young lovers are fighting to escape from the seraglio – is in itself one of the keys to the success of stage works. However, the twenty-year-old Mozart’s varied music, studded with freshness and some oriental notes, makes the song play The Abduction from the Seraglio absolutely irresistible. It is the first opera direction for Miklós Vecsei H. The freshness of the production, and the performance style that sometimes flouts opera traditions, are also guaranteed by the team of Glowing Bulbs and the new Hungarian translation by Dániel Varró.
